-The Imperial Sovereign Court of the Wild
Rose. The mission of the N.R.S.S.N.A. is to raise funds, through
activities by the Imperial Sovereign Court of the Wild Rose, for
charities and other organizations which either provide direct services
to the gay community of Edmonton or which work to promote an accepting
attitude to gays and lesbians in the community as a whole.
Sexual Assault Center of Edmonton -This center exists to empower individuals affected by sexual abuse and assault and empower communities to take action against sexual violence. Gay and Lesbian Association of the Peace -Their mission is To improve the quality of life and empower the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and two-spirited community, and its supporters through communication, education, participation, and understanding, thereby incorporating our unique strengths and values into everyday life. Suicide Prevention Resource Centre -We provide coordination, education, training, and information services in the areas of suicide prevention, intervention, and bereavement. CRHC -The Canadian Rainbow Health Coalition (CRHC) is a community-based movement dedicated to improving the emotional, physical, spiritual and mental health and wellness of people who have experienced significant inequities based on our sexual orientation and/or gender identity (commonly referred to as “GLBT”). Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network -promotes the human rights of people living with and vulnerable to HIV/AIDS, in Canada and internationally. We accomplish this through research, legal and policy analysis, education, advocacy, and community mobilization. CLGRO -The Coalition for Lesbian and Gay Rights in Ontario (CLGRO) is an organization composed of groups and individuals who are committed to working towards feminism and bisexual, lesbian, and gay liberation by engaging in public struggle for full human rights, by promoting diversity and access, and by strengthening cooperative networks for lesbian, gay, and bisexual activism. GALE BC -The primary focus of GALE BC is to advocate for change in the educational system which will result in a positive environment for lesbians, gays and bisexuals in education, whether they are students, parents, teachers, or administrators. GALE BC also offers support to members through regular meetings, social events and monthly newsletter. There is a pressing need for lesbians, gays and bisexuals in education to be able to support one another in the face of homophobia and intolerance within the educational system and society in general. LGB Youth Project -Their mission is to make Nova Scotia a safer, healthier, and happier place for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered youth through support, education, resource expansion and community development OUT On The Shelf -is a library and resource centre for the LGBTTTSIQQ* communities and allies. The centre is staffed regularly so that the community can come and access books, find out about the diverse range of events, resources and services and share a queer friendly space. In the near future, we will provide meeting space for new groups and initiatives. LGBT Youth Line -is a service provided for youth, by youth that affirms the experiences and aspirations of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, 2-spirited, queer and questioning youth in Ontario. We are queer-positive and non-judgmental, and provide confidential peer support through telephone listening, information and referral services, and through complementary outreach. PFLAG Canada -PFLAG Canada is Canada's only national organization that helps all Canadians who are struggling with issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. PFLAG Canada supports, educates and provides resources to parents, families, friends and colleagues with questions or concerns, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Centre - a community resource providing support, health and social services, and public education for the well being of lesbians, gay men, transgendered and bisexual people and their allies in Vancouver and throughout BC. THE CENTRE is committed to building pride and acceptance of diversity and to mitigating the impact of homophobia, heterosexism, transphobia and biphobia. THE CENTRE welcomes and values all people regardless of race, colour, religion, ancestry, place of origin, marital status, family status, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, and source of income. Rainbow Resouce Centre -The Rainbow Resource Centre is a not-for-profit community organization that provides support and resources to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and two-spirited communities of Manitoba and North Western Ontario.
